A LITTLE ABOUT ME
Hey! I’m Pierce, I’m a photographer and filmmaker with over 10 years of experience in the arts, and I’m thrilled to share some of my work and tell you a little about myself.
The first time I picked up a camera (my parent’s Canon Rebel t1i) I was hooked. Shortly after, I got my very own camera for Christmas and started taking photos every chance I got. Friends and family started asking me to take their photos, and eventually, at 16 years old, I shot my first wedding. To be honest, they weren’t very good, but that opportunity gave me a chance to grow my confidence in my creative abilities and awaken a desire to use my talents to serve and bring joy to others.
From there, I sought to grow and expand my knowledge in the creative arts. Eventually, I picked up filmmaking which expanded my horizons even further. Over the last several years I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to learn from so many talented creatives and work on many unique projects. But in 2022 I became a little burnt out doing creative work full-time, so I decided to take a step back while pursuing another career. This allowed me to rediscover my passion for creativity. And eventually, in late 2023 I decided to get back in the game. But this time it was purely for the craft, and not because it was my full-time job.

what to expect
Hiring a photographer or videographer can feel intimidating. But my goal is, first and foremost, to build a relationship with my clients and walk with them through every step of the process. I want it to feel like you have a friend behind the lens, not a contractor. And I fully believe both the experience and the final products are better because of that.

We’ll find a time to meet, whether in person or over a video call. The goal of this first meeting is just for us to get to know each other and for you to share a little bit about what you’re looking for and get any questions answered.

When you’re ready to move forward we’ll begin the planning stage! I’ll help you think through the various elements that go into your project or big day. This is the time to get all the kinks worked out so when the day comes you can focus on what matters most.

The goal here is to make the process as seamless and natural as possible. My style and disposition when shooting lends itself well to candid documentary-style photos and videos. Posing and directing moments are kept to a minimum, and I seek to authentically capture the moments and sights as they occur naturally.

One of my priorities and strengths in the creative process is efficiency in post-production. Lots of creatives can take several months to deliver their finals due to their schedules. But for most projects, you can expect to receive your final results within 1-2 weeks!
